“ Phenomenal kimbap ever!! This location is a hidden gem in Chelsea Market tucked away in a corner below Pearl River Market, down the staircase in the basement food court. The kimbap lab is serving up a unique menu of Korean rice rolls. I ordered myself the Tuna Salad + Cheddar Cheese Kimbap which came with a side of pickled radish (your choice) and your choice of sauce. The host was very courteous, he helped picked out the best sauce for my kimbap which he suggested the Spicy Mustard Aioli and asked for my preferred drink. When it was time for me to pay my card was not reading, but luckily the place accepted cash. The order was brought out to me in no time. Without tasting it, I already knew it was going to be fantastic-- the ingredients look fresh and appetizing. I was blown away when I took the first bite, all the flavors and textures complimented each other. The portion is quite hefty and will leave you satisfyingly full. I highly recommend anyone who's visiting the Chelsea area and is looking for a quick bite to check this place out. I just found out that they have a location out here in Brooklyn which I'm super happy about and will be reviewing it soon! ”

It was a little confusing to find though - it is in chelsea market, bottom floor, inside the pearl river mart food area. I would absolutely come again. ”

“ I’ve only tried the spicy pork kimbap; but it was delicious. Without the sauce that comes with it, the kimbap itself had a healthy feel to it; but was a little bland. Once you dip it in the sauce though, it’s a winner! I’ve never had kimbap with lettuce before, so that was initially confusing, however, it started to grow on me as a made my way through the roll. Would definitely come back to try some other flavors. ”
